Bisseh Akamé - Chansons, Jazz, Bossa Nova & Soul
NEW SHOW AND CD "FROM BERLIN TO BROADWAY!"
Bisseh Akamés new show is a terrific success: She introduces jazz songs and German songs from the 30s, 40s, 50s and the 70s. And her audience loves it.
Show and new CD include songs by Kurt Weill and Friedrich Hollaender, which Marlene Dietrich already has interpreted and furthermore songs by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
When the German-Cameroonian interpretes the "Pirate Jenny" from the Threepenny Opera, she slips completely in her role. Other German songs by Kurt Weill and Friedrich Hollaender Bisseh Akamé sings with the same dedication as songs from Cabaret, jazz, bossa nova and soul.
On September 26 2009 Bisseh Akamé successfully started her tour in Potsdam. Further concert are going to be presented in Hamburg, Erfurt and Berlin.
On Bissehs new CD "From Berlin to Broadway!" you can enjoy music at its best: A voice and a Steinway piano!
